Galvanizing is the coating of iron or steel articles with zinc in order to protect from corrosion. Galvanized steel is widely used in applications where rust resistance is needed, and can be identified by the crystalization patterning on the surface.

Here at ET Galvanizing, we specialise in  “hot-dip” galvanizing. It is the process of coating by passing metal through a molten bath of zinc at a temperature of around 460°C. When exposed to the atmosphere, the pure zinc (Zn) reacts with oxygen (O2).
