Galvanizing is the coating of iron or steel articles with zinc in order to protect from corrosion. This is done by a layer of zinc forming a physical barrier, which acts as a sacrificial anode if the barrier is damaged.
Galvanized steel is widely used in applications where rust resistance is needed, and can be identified by the crystalization patterning on the surface.

CentrifugingThe centrifuging process ensures that small items don't get stuck together, and come out with a clean finish. |
Single DippingThis can be done for items such as straight lengths of steel (i.e. Angles, RHS etc.) up to 4m long. |
Double DippingThis is for items that will not fit into the bath in one dip, so one end is dipped, then it is turned over and the other end is dipped. This will be required for straight items over 4m to 5m long. |
